Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Wollongong 20 December

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Wollongong.

Waine Turner, aged 52, was last seen Fairy Meadow about 7.30am on Tuesday (16 December 2024).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

There are concerns for his welfare as he lives with a number of health issues.

Waine is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall, solid build with shoulder length white hair.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, dark coloured cap and black and yellow shoes.

Waine is known to frequent the Sydney, Sutherland Shire, Corrimal and Wollongong areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Wollongong Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
