Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Rosehill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Emosi Sawailau, aged 72, was last seen in Rosehill, about 11am yesterday (Monday 3 February 2025).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Emosi's welfare.

He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 160cm tall, large build with black/grey short curly hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent Rosehill, Granville, Parramatta, Merrylands, Harris Park, Lidcombe and City CBD areas.

Anyone with information into Emosi's whereabouts is urged to call Granville Police on 9897 4199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
