Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Faulconbridge

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from the Sydney's north west.

Matthew Shone, aged 49, was last seen at a home on Martin Place, Faulconbridge, just before 7pm on Saturday (1 March 2025).

When he could not be contacted or located, officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare.

Matthew is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 177cm tall, of medium build, with light brown hair and a short beard.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white cross/crucifix on the left chest area, black pants and carrying a green bag.

It is believed he is driving a 2015 white Hyundai i30 with NSW registration CX82TH.

Matthew is known to frequent Prospect, Penrith, Campbelltown and Blue Mountains areas.
