Police appeal to locate man missing from Vaucluse

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Jose Plagaro, aged 79, was last seen on Wentworth Street, Vaucluse, about 11.30am yesterday (Monday 8 August 2022).

When he could not be located, police attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Jose's welfare as he lives with a number of health conditions.

Jose is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build with brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a brown jumper with blue shorts and black shoes.

Jose is known to frequent parks around the Vaucluse area.
