Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Auburn.
Melville Cummings, aged 53, was last seen leaving a hospital on Water Street, Auburn, about 7.50pm yesterday (Friday 8 November 2024).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to him requiring medical treatment and acting out of character.
Melville is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 172cm tall, with short brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a white hospital gown, grey shorts, a beige hat and white slippers; however, police believe he may have changed into black shorts and dark coloured shirt.
Melville is known to frequent railway station around Sydney and the Auburn, Ourimbah and Doonside areas.
