Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Avalon Beach

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's northern beaches.

Richard Paton, aged 55, was last seen at a home on Palmgrove Road, Avalon Beach in early April this year, and he has not been seen or heard from since.

He was reported missing to officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command on Monday 27 May 2024, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and have concerns for Richard's welfare.

Richard is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with brown hair and an unkempt beard.

He is known to frequent the Avalon, Balgowlah and Manly areas, and has been known to camp in the Palm Beach area.

Anyone with information into Richard's whereabouts is urged to call Dee Why Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
