Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Broken Hill 12 September

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Broken Hill.

Jeffery Smith, aged 77, was last seen at a home on Kaolin Street, Broken Hill, about 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 11 September 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Barrier Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare because he lives with dementia.

Jeffery is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm-175cm tall, of medium build with grey hair.

He was last seen wearing denim jeans, grey/brown flannel shirt and sneakers.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Broken Hill Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
