Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Five Dock

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's inner west.

Geoffrey Scarlett, aged 82, was last seen on Connecticut Avenue, Five Dock, about 9.30am yesterday (Friday 4 April 2025).

When he was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and medical condition.

Geoffrey is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build with white/grey short hair and grey eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, khaki shorts and black thongs.

Inquiries established he may be travelling in a 2006 white holden Commodore Ute with NSW registration BSR36A.

He is known to frequent the Gulmarrad area in state's northern region.
