Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Moree 10 April

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Moree.

William Sanders, aged 41, was last seen on Auburn Street, Moree, about 11.30am yesterday (Wednesday 9 April 2025).

When he was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to New England Police District were notified and commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for his welfare.

William is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 160-180cm tall, thin build with an unshaven face, brown eyes and short hair.

He was last seen wearing a red jacket, blue shorts and thongs.

William is known to frequent the Moree area.
