Police appeal to locate man missing from near Deniliquin

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the states south.

John Finn, aged 64, was last seen leaving an address in his vehicle at Conargo – 35km north of Deniliquin – about 9am yesterday (Thursday 21 July 2022).

When he failed to return home and could not be contacted by family or friends, officers from Murray River Police District were notified who immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Inquiries have established that he may have been in the Tocumwal area – 80km east of Deniliquin – at 1pm today (Friday 22 July 2022) and could be possibly travelling to Victoria.

John is described as Caucasian appearance, 175cm, grey mid length hair possibly in a ponytail and a grey goatee beard.

He was wearing blue jeans, blue singlet and a dark top.

When last seen John was in company with his Kelpie dog.

John maybe travelling in a grey Toyota Hilux bearing NSW registration CV18PP.

Serious concerns are held for John's well-being.
