Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Tempe

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Peter Ward, aged 56, was last seen about 9am yesterday, (Saturday 11 January 2025) in Station Street, Tempe.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Peter is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175-180cm tall, large build, grey hair and blue eyes. He has a 2cm tattoo on his left arm.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark grey pants and black runners

He is known to frequent Broadway, Sefton and the Inner West areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Marrickville Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
