Police Appeal To Locate Man With Dementia At Hurstville

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man with dementia missing from Sydney's south.

Gani Saidovski, aged 83, was last seen on Macpherson Street, Hurstville, about 3pm today (Saturday 12 October 2024).

When he did not return, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Gani is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, badling with white beard, and was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, and black pants and shoes.

He is known to frequent parks in Hurstville, and may walk toward the Padstow area.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
