Police Appeal To Locate Man With Dementia At Penshurst

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man with dementia missing from Sydney's south.

Gani Saidovski, aged 83, was last seen walking west along Forest Road, Penshurst, about 5pm today (Saturday 7 December 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia and a number of health conditions.

Gani is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, medium build, 175cm, grey beard, and grey hair.

He was seen wearing a black jacket and dark blue pants.

Gani is known to frequent parks in Hurstville, the Hurstville CBD, Kingsgrove, Penshurst and Padstow.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Hurstville Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
