Police Appeal To Locate Man With Dementia Near Albury

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man with dementia missing from the state's south.

Ian Spencer, aged 84, was last seen on a property at Splitters Creek – about 7km west of Albury - about 4pm today (Saturday 7 December 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Ian is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 183cm, thin build with short grey hair.

He was seen wearing a red t-shirt and light pink coloured pants.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Albury Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
