Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's north-west.
Xuedao Zhang, aged 87, was last seen leaving his home on Wilga Place, Marsfield, about 3pm yesterday (Sunday 8 August 2021).
Officers from Ryde Police Area Command were notified of his disappearance later that day after he did not return home from a planned walk.
Police and family hold concerns for Xuedao's welfare as he has a medical condition.
He is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, with brown eyes, grey hair and a grey beard.
Xuedao was last seen wearing a brown jacket, cream-coloured pants and black shoes.
