Police appeal to locate missing boy - Carramar

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney's west.

Awab Farhan, aged 11, was last seen at his home on Atkin Avenue, Carramar, just after 12am today (Saturday 29 January 2022).

He was reported missing to officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command when his family noticed him missing.

Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions that require treatment.

Awab is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm tall, of thin build with short black hair. He was last seen wearing black track pants and may be carrying a black backpack.

He is known to frequent the areas of Carramar, Fairfield, Gosford, Parramatta, King Park in Merrylands and Granville Park. Awab may also utilise the public transport network.
