Police Appeal To Locate Missing Child At Wollongong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a child who is in company with a woman known to the child.

Molly Nonnan-Medley, aged 8, was last seen in Woonona about 11am on Thursday (31 October 2024).

When attempts to contact the adult were unsuccessful, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified yesterday (Friday 1 November 2024) and immediately commenced an investigation to locate the child.

Molly is described as Caucasian appearance, 120cm, thin build, blue eyes and blond/brown hair.

It is not known what Molly maybe wearing.

The woman in company with the child is known to frequent the Woonona, Wollongong and Huskisson areas.

Inquiries have established that the pair maybe heading to somewhere in Queensland.

It is believed they maybe relying on public transport to travel.
