Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man At Guildford 16 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south west.

Hai Ying Gao, aged 75, was last seen on Willoughby Road, Guildford, about 12.30pm yesterday (Thursday 15 August 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.

Hai is believed to have travelled to Military Road, Guildford on Thursday.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build and with short brown hair, grey facial hair, brown eyes and no teeth.

Hai was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black t-shirt, blue pants, black shoes and a baseball cap with reflecting stripes on the sides.

He is also believed to be travelling in a grey Honda Civic with registration 'CMC36G'.

Hai is known to frequent the Guildford, Granville and Auburn areas.
