Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man At Lightning Ridge

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Lightning Ridge.

William Haynes, aged 32, was last seen leaving his home and entering dense bushland at Haynes Camp on Wooloroo Road, Lightning Ridge, about 4.30pm on Monday (2 September 2024).

He was reported missing to officers from Central North Police District, who have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police are concerned for his welfare due to medical conditions that require treatment.

William is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build, with light brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts.

He is known to frequent the area of Lightning Ridge.
