Police appeal to locate missing man - Belmore

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from Sydney's south west.

Paraskevas Gribilas, aged 83, was last seen leaving his unit on Eulda Street, Belmore, about 8.45am today (Tuesday 21 September 2021).

Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were alerted to his disappearance after he failed to return home this afternoon, and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Concerns are held for Paraskevas' welfare as he lives with dementia and due to a number of medical conditions that require medication.

He is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, of medium build with grey hair.

Paraskevas was last seen wearing a grey jumper and grey trousers.

As inquiries continue into Paraskevas' whereabouts, police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
