Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man - Blackett

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Mahara Dean, aged 73, was last seen in Blackett, about 1pm on Saturday (2 November 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for him as he lives with several medical conditions.

Mahara is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 180cm tall, of solid build, with grey hair, brown eyes, unshaven and numerous tattoos.

Mahara is known to frequent the Blackett, Bidwill and Marsden Park areas.

Anyone who may have seen or who have information into his whereabouts are urged to contact Mount Druitt Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
