Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man - Dee Why 28 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's northern beaches.

Matthew Sawyer, age 30, was last seen at a home on Tasman Street, Dee Why, about 7.30pm on Tuesday 27 August 2024.

When he was unable to be located or contacted, he was reported missing to officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold concerns for Matthew's welfare as he requires medication.

Matthew is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with brown/blond hair.

He was last seen wearing black shorts, black t-shirt and maroon baseball cap.

Matthew is known to frequent mid-north Curl Curl beach and Dee Why beach.
