Police appeal to locate missing man from Sydney's west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Peter Ruzak, aged 54, was last seen at a home on Oxford Street, Lidcombe, about 10am on Wednesday (8 March 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

There are serious concerns for his welfare.

Peter is described as being of Caucasian appearance, medium build, about 160cm tall, medium length white hair and a dark coloured moustache.

He was last seen wearing navy blue coloured t-shirt, dark coloured pants and sandy coloured boots. Peter also had a black backpack and was carrying a white plastic bag.

Peter is also known to frequent the Berala and Auburn areas.
