Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man In Sydney CBD

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's southwest and believed to be in the Sydney CBD area.

Andrew Carr, aged 36, was last seen at a unit on Boronia Street, South Granville, about 11.00am on Friday (30 August 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Inquiries by police have shown Andrew might be in the Haymarket or Surry Hills areas.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare, as he lives with a number of medical conditions which requires daily medication.

Andrew is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 175cm tall, thin to medium build, medium complexion, with short black hair in corn rows hairstyle.

Andrew is known to frequent the Granville and Surry Hills areas.
