Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man - Mid North Coast 15 September

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Mid North Coast area.

Alexander – also known as Alex – Barnier, aged 21, was last seen about 8.30pm yesterday (Saturday 14 September 2024) at Rainbow Flat, south of Taree.

When he failed to return home and could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Alexander is described as Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build and has short blond hair.

He was last seen wearing a black work shirt and maroon footy shorts.

Alexander is believed to be heading to Queensland.
