Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man - North Ryde

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's north.

Owen Newton, aged 57, was last seen at an address on Avon Road, North Ryde, about 2.10pm on Wednesday (3 July 2024).

When he failed to return home and was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Owen's welfare.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm – 165cm tall, of medium build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, black pants, and black shoes with pink sides.

Owen is known to frequent the North Manly and Macquarie Park areas.
