Police appeal to locate missing man - Northern Beaches PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing man from Sydney's northern suburbs.

David Lachlan, aged 64, was last seen at a shopping centre along Forest Way, Frenchs Forest, about 8.30am yesterday (Tuesday 27 December 2022).

When he could not be contacted by friends and family, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for David's welfare due to him having a number of health conditions.

David is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 55cm tall, of thin build, bald and has a prosthetic left leg.

He was last seen wearing short sleeved chequered green shirt, beige coloured shorts, white shoes and uses crutches for support.

David is known to frequent the Frenches Forest area.
