Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man - Peakhurst

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south.

Viliami Taliai, aged 87, was last seen at 3:30am today (Wednesday 14 August 2024) on Blackwattle Street, Peakhurst.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he has dementia.

Viliami is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 180cm tall, of medium build, with brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark green jacket and maroon pants.

Anyone with information into Viliami's whereabouts is urged to call St George Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
