Police Appeal To Locate Missing Teen - Yagoona

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's southwest.

Mohamed Aboukhalifa, aged 14, was last seen on Boardman Street, Yagoona, about 5.45pm today (Tuesday 13 August 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he is nonverbal.

Mohamed is described as being of Middle Eastern / Mediterranean appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build with short dark hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and grey shorts.

Mohamed has an interest in public transport, particularly trains and may have caught a bus from Rookwood Road, Yagoona.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Bankstown Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
