Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two girls missing from the state's Central Tablelands.
Brianna Butts, aged 17, and Lakeisha Lamelangi-Mcleay, aged 14, were last seen at Bowenfels – a suburb of Lithgow - about 2pm yesterday (Monday 8 July 2024).
When they was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Chifley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for the teenagers.
Brianna is described as Caucasian appearance, 177cm, medium build, brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and cream coloured shoes with pink stripe around the back.
Lakeeisha is described as Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 172cm, thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.
When last sighted, she was seen wearing a brown puffer jacket, a pink/white coloured shiirt blue track pants,
The teenagers are known to frequent the Lithgow and Mt Druitt areas.
