Police Appeal To Locate Missing Woman At Hawkesbury

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Sydney CBD area.

Margaret Prewer, who is known as Betty, aged 79, was last seen walking to a bus stop in McGraths Hill, about 8.30am on Thursday (25 July 2024).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her age.

Margaret is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm tall, medium build, with long grey/white hair.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket and orange beanie.

Margaret frequently uses the train system often at Mulgrave and Central Railway Station.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
