Police appeal to locate missing woman from state's south coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the state's south coast.

Emily Kirby, aged 22, was last seen on Keira Street, Port Kembla, about 2.30am this morning (Sunday 2 October 2022).

When she could not be contacted, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified, who commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Originally from Killarney Vale on the Central Coast, Emily is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, with a slim build and blonde hair. She has tattoos on her fingers and a tattoo of rosary beads on her left hand.

She was last seen wearing a loose purple knit jumper and black track pants with no shoes.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts it urged to contact Lake Illawarra police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
