Police Appeal To Locate Teen Missing From Moorebank 6 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenager missing from Sydney's south west.

Waled Abo Oun, aged 17, was last seen at a home on Bambridge Street, Chester Hill, about 5.30pm on Friday 2 August 2024.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified the following day (Saturday 3 August 2024) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Waled is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 165cm tall with slim build and black hair.

He is known to frequent the Liverpool area and is believed to be driving a white Toyota Corolla sedan with NSW registration CCB56Z.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Bankstown police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
