Police Appeal To Locate Teen Missing From Orange

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenaged boy missing from Orange.

Jye McKellar, age 16, was last seen at a home in Orange, about 4.50pm on Sunday (21 July 2024).

When he failed to return home, police attached to Central West Police District were notified on Tuesday (30 July 2024), and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Jye is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and eyes.

He was last seen wearing black pants with a black and green hoodie, carrying a black bum bag.

He is known to frequent the Orange, Tamworth and Dubbo areas.

Anyone with information into Jye's whereabouts is urged to call Orange Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
