Police Appeal To Locate Teenager Missing From Newcastle 22 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Newcastle.

Savannah Bamblett, aged 15, was last seen in Shortland about 1pm on Sunday (19 January 2025).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Newcastle City Police District were notified yesterday (21 January 2025) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Savannah's welfare due to her young age.

Savannah is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm – 160cm tall, of medium build with brown hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Merewether, Hamilton South, Shortland and Fletcher areas.

Anyone who has information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Newcastle Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
