Police appeal to locate teenager missing from West Wyalong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing in the Riverina region.

Angel Wheatley, aged 16, was last seen at a home on Ungarie Road, West Wyalong, north-east of Griffith, about 1am today (Sunday 29 May 2022)

When she failed to return home officers from Murrumbidgee Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Angel's welfare due to her age.

Angel is described as being Caucasian appearance, fair complexion with freckles, approximately 160cm tall, thin build and dyed red/blonde hair.

It is not known what she was wearing at the time but is believed to have Ugg-boots and a black backpack with her.

Angel is known to frequent the Condobolin, Parkes and Forbes areas.
