Police appeal to locate teenager missing from Sydney's west 19 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's west.

Rebecca Christian, aged 13, was last seen at her home on Turunen Avenue, Silverdale, about 2.30pm today (Friday 19 August 2022).

When Rebecca could not be located or contacted, officers from Nepean Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Rebecca's welfare due to her age.

Rebecca is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm-170cm tall, of thin build, with light brown long hair, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light grey hoodie with 'Asics' written on front and down the sleeves, black tracksuit pants, red shoes, and a backpack.

Rebecca is known to frequent the Penrith, Mt Druitt, Blacktown and Parramatta areas.
