Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant in the state's western region.
Tray Elwood, aged 23, is wanted on an outstanding warrant for alleged stealing and assault offences.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District are conducting inquiries into his whereabouts.
Tray is described as being of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Island appearance, with a thin build, about 165cm to 170cm tall and black hair.
He is known to frequent the Dubbo, Walgett and Bourke areas.
Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged not to approach him but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
