Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Bankstown area.
Catherine "Mimi" Nguyen, aged 24, was last seen at her home on Elliston Street, Chester Hill, about 11.25am earlier today (Thursday 23 May 2024).
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command commenced an investigation into her whereabouts when she was reported missing by a family member.
Police and family hold serious concerns for Mimi's welfare as she requires special care as she is non-verbal and lives with a number of conditions which require medication.
Mimi is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160-165cm tall, of medium build, with black, shoulder-length hair.
She was last seen wearing white pants, a light green jacket, and white shoes.
Police have been told Mimi regularly utilises the public transport network from Sefton Railway Station and is known to attend the city.
