Police Appeal To Locate Woman Missing From Redfern 28 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's south.

Leslie Weldon, aged 61, was last seen on Louis Street, Redfern, about 10pm on Sunday 26 January 2025.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified on Monday (27 January 2025) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

There are concerns for Leslie's welfare as she lives with dementia and a number of health conditions.

Leslie is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, green pants, and carrying a grey leather bag.

Leslie is known to frequent the Riverstone and Redfern areas.
