Police Appeal To Locate Woman Missing From Merrylands 2 March

Police area appealing for assistance to locate a woman missing from the Sydney's south west.

Shameela Nadir, aged 58, was last seen at a hospital on Hawkesbury Road, Westmead about 5.43pm yesterday (Saturday 1 March 2025).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were contacted and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Police and family hold serious concerns as she lives with dementia.

Shameela is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a grey shirt, black pants, black shoes with brown soles. She was carrying a white pattern bag and a grey scarf.

She is known to frequent Merrylands and shopping centres within Merrylands and surrounding suburbs.
