Police appeal to locate woman missing from Sydney

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney.

Leslie Weldon, aged 59, was last seen on Louis Street, Redfern, about 3pm yesterday (Friday 21 October 2022).

When she could not be contacted, officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia.

Leslie is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, and has brown/grey shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing a light blue 'Everlast' jumper, dark coloured pants, and red 'Everlast' slip-on shoes.
