Police appeal to locate woman missing from Town Hall

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a vulnerable woman missing from Town Hall railway station.

Katerina Moraitas, aged 22, was last seen by a carer when they became separated in the concourse area around 1.00pm today (Tuesday 22 November 2022).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Despite numerous inquiries by police, Katerina has not been located.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Katerina's welfare as she has autism spectrum disorder and is non-verbal.

Katerina is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 166cm tall, with thin build and short black hair and brown-coloured eyes. At the time she went missing she was wearing a black hoodie, grey pants and carrying a black back-pack.

Anyone with information into Katerina's whereabouts is urged to contact Sydney City Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
