Two people have died following a collision between a car and truck at Mount Irving yesterday.
Just after 10am, investigations suggest a truck travelling westbound on Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road has collided with a car travelling south on Jondaryan Mount Tyson Road.
Two people, a 29-year-old woman and 12-year-old girl, travelling in the car have died as a result of the crash. Four other people from the car were transported to hospital, two remain in a critical condition.
The man driving the truck, aged 39, was also transported to hospital.
Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is encouraged to come forward and speak with police.
