Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Coldstream on Saturday, 27 May.
It is believed the male driver veered onto the wrong side of the road, clipping one tree before crashing into another tree on Killara Road just after 1pm.
The male driver, a 63-year-old from Yarra Junction, died at hospital later that day.
The front passenger, a 27-year-old from Yarra Junction, and the rear passenger, a 12-year-old male also from Yarra Junction, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
