Police are investigating a fatal collision in Mansfield this afternoon.
It is believed that a truck collided with a car near the intersection of Mount Bulla Road and Mansfield-Woods Point Road about 3pm.
The driver of the car, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
The passenger, who is yet to be identified, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
