Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Brighton this evening.
Investigators have been told a motorcycle was travelling along the Nepean Highway about 5.55pm when it was involved in a collision with a car which was changing lanes.
The rider came off his bike and was struck by a following car.
Members of the public immediately came to the assistance of the man, believed to be in his 30s, but he could not be revived.
