Police Are Responding To Fatal Collision In Chocolyn

Police are investigating a fatal collision in Chocolyn last night.

Emergency services were called to a head on collision where one vehicle caught fire on Camperdown-Lismore Road, on Saturday, 21 September about 9.30pm.

The driver and only occupant in one of the vehicles, a 35-year-old man from Glenfyne died at the scene.

The male driver, female front seat passenger and two children were all taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two other children inside the second vehicle were uninjured.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
