A person has died following a fatal collision in Keilor Park on Thursday morning.
Police and emergency services responded after two vehicles collided and caught fire on the Western Ring Road/Calder Freeway about 11.20am.
Sadly, the sole occupant of the van, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the truck escaped from his cabin and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The circumstances of the collision are under investigation.
