Police are currently on scene investigating a fatal collision in Laanecoorie this morning.
It is believed a utility and a SUV collided at the intersection of Bendigo- Maryborough Road and Bridgewater- Maldon Road just after 8am.
The driver of the SUV died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
The male driver of the utility was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Central Goldfields Highway Patrol officers will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
